Our stay was outstanding from start to finish. The house was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and in excellent condition. It had everything we needed, and every detail was thoughtfully maintained.
The hosting team (Collin) provided excellent service throughout our stay, making the entire experience seamless. The true highlight, however, was our house mom, Andreina. She was absolutely amazing—kind, welcoming, an incredible cook, and she kept the house spotless every single day. She truly made our vacation special.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This will definitely be our go-to home and hosting team for every future trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Sapphire. It was our first time in Costa Rica and Collin was extremely helpful in planning our transportation and activities both before we arrived and once we were there. Andreina was one of the highlights of our trip - she is a wonderful cook and kept our house spotless. The roads are a nightmare- but they are working to improve them - it’s all part of the adventure.

We had an amazing stay at Hacienda Pinilla! The home was beautiful, but the backyard was the real star—our own private oasis. We had monkeys visit every day! The sauna was a treat.
Andrea spoiled us with incredible breakfasts every morning, and Collin was a fabulous concierge who helped arrange everything for us, even last-minute requests. His recommendations and responsiveness made our trip seamless.
Our teenagers loved the Beach Club, we enjoyed beach walks every morning, and the location was perfect—close to Tamarindo while still feeling peaceful and private. Our catamaran day was the highlight of the trip. Be sure to book a golf cart — makes the beach club and market runs super easy!
We made unforgettable family memories and would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was great. It was nice to have a pool. Everything was pretty clean, and the neighborhood was quite secure. It was good to have golf carts so that we could go to the local beach club and to the JW Marriott if we needed to. We still needed a car, though, for us to go to Tamarindo and other places.
The concierge and the house mom were critical. The house mom kept everything really clean and cooked a meal once a day, breakfast or lunch, and made drinks and snacks in the afternoon. She could have been more generous with the things she did, like other experiences I've had in other Latin American countries but overall she added a lot of value. The concierge was really helpful in organizing everything for us in terms of activities like zip lining or surfing lessons. He was very helpful in planning our trip.

Our stay at Casa Sapphire was fantastic. We really enjoyed the house, it was very clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed Jennifer - she was extremely friendly and cooked the most delicious breakfasts and snacks! We loved the pool at the house as well as the sauna and cold plunge.

To the Stay in Tamarindo Team, Our family was incredibly blessed to be able to stay at your beautiful home, Casa Saffire del Bosque! The quality of home construction, the furnishings and detail were like going to a Four Seasons. My wife and I stayed in the Casita while my son and his family stayed in the main home. This combination was amazing! Also, Jennifer prepared some of the most beautiful brunches for the family! Also, we loved being so close to the Beach Club for surfing, working out, the amazing restaurant and sunsets were beautiful. Thank you and we will be back!

Una experiencia inigualable — ¡más que una casa, un paraíso privado!
Nuestra estancia en esta propiedad fue simplemente espectacular. La casa es preciosa, moderna, muy amplia y perfectamente equipada. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y cuidado hasta el último detalle. Los cinco cuartos, cada uno con su baño privado, ofrecían total comodidad e intimidad, ideales para grupos grandes o familias.
La piscina fue uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para relajarnos, y el sauna y la máquina de crioterapia fueron un verdadero lujo que no esperábamos encontrar. La cocina está equipada con todos los utensilios necesarios, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de comidas caseras cuando lo deseamos.
Pero lo que realmente elevó nuestra experiencia fue el servicio. Contamos con una persona encantadora que no solo mantenía la casa en perfecto orden, sino que además cocinaba platillos deliciosos y nos preparaba bebidas y cócteles como si estuviéramos en un resort cinco estrellas.
Volveremos!!

Such an amazing trip for my 40th birthday! The house was even better I person. From booking to checkout, Collin was so helpful and made our trip so much easier. One of the highlights was Jennifer, our house mom. She made the most delicious food with love, was so accommodating and always made sure we were comfortable. Cannot suggest this home, and Stay in Tamarindo more!

We loved staying at this property. Leading up to, and once we were in the home, Collin was so helpful with everything. The house is better in person than the photos and the photos are beautiful! One of the highlights of our trip was Jennifer, our house mom! She made the most incredible food, was so accommodating, and always made sure we were comfortable. This house was absolutely beautiful! We traveled with five adults and six children, and the house was plenty big for us and very comfortable. A few things we learned during our stay: Hacienda Pinilla is a large gated neighborhood with smaller communities within it. Casa Sapphire is located inside another newer smaller, beautiful gated community within Hacienda Pinilla, making it very secure. We had a family of monkeys in the trees behind the house, which was fun for the kids to see up close! The owners were in the process of installing an outdoor shower with a cold plunge and sauna. We were a week too early to enjoy these amenities, but they will be a great addition! Our house mom was wonderful and prepared delicious meals and juices for us every morning. She also kept the house immaculate which I know was a big job with so many kids. It was nice to have her help with laundry and really helped us keep our packing in a minimum! Avellanas is a quaint beach “town” about 10 minutes away from the house, featuring some hidden gem restaurants and shops, plus a very swimmable beach. We rented boogie boards for $10 and had a blast, followed by a sunset dinner at Lola’s. Hacienda Pinilla also has a beach club that is about 5 minutes from the house. The beach club was just $5 per person and provided a fun change of pace for a day. The food there was underwhelming but not terrible. You do need to bring your own beach towels to the club (the house has plenty). We found that the house definitely requires a car (must have a 4x4 if planning on more sight seeing because the roads are tough but doable with a 4x4), we traveled to multiple additional beaches (Playa Grande, Nosara, Playa Flamingo), and the location was central. However, Avellanas was definitely our “home beach.” I highly recommend this property, especially for families! Collin was our concierge contact while we stayed. He was very friendly and informative. He was a fantastic resource and responsive. He speaks perfect English and Spanish. Thank you for a memorable stay!
