To reach El Chante’s beautiful hilltop overlook, we recommend reserving a car. While the home is only 300 meters from the beach and close to Tamarindo’s dining, shopping, surf, and beaches, the hill is a bit steep for walking. A quick ride down the hill brings you to the heart of Tamarindo, where the fun never stops. You also have multiple beach access points nearby, with Pangas Restaurant just across from the gated community. Located where the estuary meets the ocean, this Guanacaste fusion restaurant offers beach access during working hours, making it a perfect starting point for walks into Tamarindo along the beach.
